Article 31 and 16 Mental Health Clinics are staffed by therapists who have an understanding of the challenges faced by people whose lives are impacted by epilepsy. We offer one-on-one therapy sessions, as well as some group services. We have psychiatry supports as well.

Article 16 Clinics, NYC and Westchester

The Article 16 Clinics operate under the auspices of the NYS Office for People with Developmental Disability (OPWDD). The Clinics serve people living with a developmental disability and to approved by OPWDD for services. Our Clinics accept Medicaid and Medicare. No one is turned away for inability to pay.

In NYC, the Clinic offers psychotherapy, psychiatry and some vocational rehabilitation.

In the Westchester satellite, we offer psychotherapy, psychiatry and occupational therapy.

Article 31 NYC

The Article 31 Clinic, a Mental Health Outpatient Treatment and Rehabilitation Service (MHOTRS), operates under the NYS Office for Mental Health (OMH).

Article 31 Clinic offers psychotherapy and psychiatry. EFMNY provides NYC’s only mental health clinic, specializing in treating people living with or impacted by Epilepsy. We offer one-on-one therapy sessions, as well as group services. We are committed to working with Clients to support them on their journey.

The Epilepsy Foundation of Metropolitan New York is an affiliate of the national Epilepsy Foundation.
